Maranguka Community
Hub Website
We have recently developed a new website which is where all
the information that you need about who we are and what we
do can be found. From working group updates, case studies
and upcoming events; make sure you regularly check it out to
keep up to date on what we’re up to and what’s happening in
the region.
One important feature of the new
website is the opportunity to interact
with the Palimaa Interactive Platform.
This resource presents the data which
tells the story of Bourke. The data
presented is owned by the Aboriginal
community, governed by the Bourke
Tribal Council and is used to make
informed decisions about what needs to
happen to improve the lives of everyone
living in our community.
You can visit the new website at
maranguka.org.au.
From the
Executive
Director
Welcome everyone to this
edition of the Maranguka
Newsletter. It is proving to be
another exciting year for us at
the Maranguka Community
Hub as we continue to listen to
and support the best interests
of our community.
There have been lots of events
and workshops taking place
in and around Bourke recently
which Maranguka has proudly
supported, some of which we
have included in this newsletter.
This year’s NAIDOC calendar is
full of great events, and I look
forward to seeing many of
you out enjoying our amazing
community and culture.
