The Bourke Show
In May the Bourke Show lit up Renshaw Park on Ngemba Country,
drawing crowds from all over the region to enjoy the wide variety of
displays and activities on offer.
Recognising the challenges many in our community are facing,
we offered free entry to anyone who completed a community
survey. The data collected will be instrumental in making informed
decisions for our community moving forward.
On the day Maranguka also teamed up with RU OK?, Catholic Care,
and the Marathon Mental Health and Headspace Mental Health
campaigns to provide support and information to attendees at
the show.
NAIDOC 2025
NAIDOC is just around the corner, taking place in early July
and Maranguka is proud to be a member of the local NAIDOC
Committee, and we are excited to be a part of a wonderful
calendar of events. This year’s NAIDOC theme is The Next
Generation: Strength, Vision and Legacy and this strongly re昀氀ects
Maranguka’s own vision of working with the community to make
sure our children grow up to be safe, smart and strong, as this
generation of young people is going to lead our community
forward into the future. Please see the last page for the Calendar
